Delicate, distinctive, and designed to wear every day — this twisted arrow bangle is the kind of piece that becomes a quiet signature.
Simple enough to stack, special enough to wear alone, it moves effortlessly from a casual daytime look to an evening out. Additionally, because I handcraft each one exclusively for Curlicue NZ, you genuinely won’t find this design anywhere else.
I shape the entire bangle from 100% recycled Sterling Silver wire, hammer-hardening it so the wire is stronger and holds its elegant circular form over time. The centrepiece is a 5cm twisted arrow that spans the wrist beautifully — and because I form small chevron hooks at each end, the arrow tip itself becomes the clasp. It hooks on and off easily, so there’s no fiddling or frustration getting it on.

Not sure which to choose? As a guide, measure a bangle you already wear comfortably, or wrap a soft tape measure around your wrist and add 2–3cm for comfort.

A note on wearing:
This bangle isn’t designed to slip over the hand — instead, the clasp hooks onto the point of the arrow, making it easy to put on and take off with one hand. Furthermore, as with all sterling silver wire jewellery, take it off before sport or heavy activity to keep it looking its best.
A note on care:
Store flat or hanging to maintain its shape. Sterling silver develops a beautiful patina over time — a gentle polish with a soft cloth will bring back its shine whenever you like.
