I care about the world we live in and looking after our natural environment and I personally gift-wrap all of my orders. 

Gift Boxes – no more:

After a few years with my gift boxes, I have decided they no longer fit my ‘be as sustainable as possible’ ethos. 

The black card boxes with see-through PVC lid may continue to be used for display purposes (for example in shops), however they will no longer be used to package my online orders.

Eco Friendly Packaging

All of my handcrafted pieces come lovingly, personally and sustainably packaged by me. Each item is put into a cotton bag, then wrapped in tissue and cotton cord or paper ribbon – like a gift, then wrapped in re-used bubble wrap to ensure its safety during transit. 

I would love to go plastic free!

However, I still have a huge amount of bubble wrap that I have received over the years, and I reuse this bubble wrap to ensure your jewellery is safe during transit, rather than putting it all into soft plastics recycling. 

You can also either reuse it or put it into soft plastics to be recycled.

 What you’ll get:

• Your piece of jewellery will come placed on a Curlicue NZ card (printed using environmentally friendly inks)
• An anti-tarnish tab (small square of paper that absorbs moisture)
• Jewellery Care Instructions Card – some simple tips on how to look after your new jewellery. For more information visit Jewellery Care.
• Dependent on the product, you may also receive a free polish cloth
• All of these items will first be put inside a cotton bag, and
• Then carefully wrapped in silver tissue paper, closed with an eco friendly label and either cotton or paper cord
• It is all then wrapped up in re-purposed bubble wrap (that I have already, no new bubble wrap will be bought) to cushion the jewellery and ensure its safety during transit.
• An R3 recycled plastic courier bag, that can be reused or recycled again with soft plastics, is what your item will arrive in.
