Let’s face it: shopping online can be tricky!
Yep, I know – you can never be entirely sure a product will suit you or that it will be the way it appears in the photographs. Trust me – I shop online too and I know how it is.
Because I genuinely want you to be happy with your Curlicue NZ purchases, all of my orders come with a guarantee: be 100% happy, or return your item/s for your money back or a store credit.
So if your jewellery breaks in the course of normal wear and care (putting on or taking off without tugging); I will repair, refund or replace it, for free. This will be done at my discretion, depending on which is most feasible (shipping excluded).
The item must be returned in its original condition along with packaging and it must not have been worn. It must be returned within 30 days of ordering. Please see the “Returns, Refunds & Exchanges” section for more information.
However, please be aware that I cannot accept returns of Custom Orders (this includes rings) due to the item being made to your specifications / sizing, and the unlikelihood of being able to re-sell that item.
Please note: A refund does not apply to the cost of return shipping.
Curlicue NZ Jewellery is not responsible for packages lost in transit. All packages should be returned to me via a trackable method.
PLEASE also remember that handmade jewellery is fragile – especially where thin wire is used to wrap a bead or a spiral flourish finishes an item. These wires can get caught on clothing hair – and little fingers!
Curlicue NZ Jewellery is not responsible for replacing broken jewellery where appropriate care has not been taken to protect an item from clothing (or children!) However, I am happy to repair an item for you an item for you at a small cost.
If you lose an earring contact me and I will see if I have the materials available to duplicate it. If I do there will be a small charge to cover materials and labour.
I also offer a Repair Service for any wire or costume jewellery (not just Curlicue NZ) should it be needed – please note, I am not a metal smith (yet) so can’t solder silver together.

I offer a 10 day full refund for return policy.
In the first instance, if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact me within 10 days of receiving it and we will go from there.
Head over to the ‘Returns, Refunds & Exchanges’ page for more information.

Please also note: All refunds are processed back through to your original payment method. If you have paid with a gift certificate I will issue you with a new gift certificate. Unfortunately, I am unable to issue you with a cash refund if you have paid with a gift certificate as there is no physical money there for me to refund you with.
Once you have been issued with your return (either certificate/refund) I am unable to change this.
As soon as I have received your return, you’ll be issued with a refund for the cost of the item/s. I can organise an exchange instead if you prefer. Just let me know what you would like instead.
can be sent with gift purchases so the receiving party can exchange if they so desire – except where it is a custom-made piece.
Please let me know if a gift exchange voucher is required and the recipient will receive instructions with the package on how to make the exchange.
The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order.
All Curlicue NZ Jewellery items are hand made by me at my home in Auckland, New Zealand and those items that are reproducible will still vary slightly in size, colour and pattern to those visible in the online store. Therefore please keep in mind that some small imperfections may be present – this is not seen as a fault.
Hopefully you will also see that any small imperfection is part of what makes a personally hand-made item unique and distinctive.
